Hi, I’m Mario.
I’m the multi-award-winning Head of Design Excellence at AMV BBDO. During my time there, my role as a creative has evolved from designer to art director to creative director. I’m passionate about design and ideas that are crafted to perfection and make a positive impact.
Over the years, my work has been consistently recognised at the leading international award shows. Highlights include multiple Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, among them a Design Grand Prix and an Industry Craft Grand Prix, and multiple Yellow Pencils at D&AD. I’ve also been ranked as one of the world’s top ten Design Directors on numerous occasions across various award shows, reaching the number one spot at both D&AD and The One Show. In addition, I’ve served as a jury member at some of the industry’s most prestigious award shows, including Cannes Lions and D&AD.
Notably, Trash Isles won the Graphic Design category at the Design Museum’s annual Beazley Designs of the Year Awards in London, after which it was added to the museum’s permanent collection.
